Glee, New Girl and Raising Hope - Didja watch?

Didja watch Glee?  If you had you woulda seen:

- Kurt's outfits were, uh, interesting.  Sadly I can't find any decent screencaps of the animal print, duster-length, sweater he was wearing so you'll have to make due with the one above.  It seemed to be a cropped sweater that had epaulettes.

- Blaine back at Dalton to give his old classmates tickets to the McKinley musical production of West Side Story.  Of course when he got there they were all singing and dancing.

- Rachel and Santana's duet as Maria and Anita respectively.  I actually really liked this duet.  Their voices have such different tones but it was cool to hear them together.

- The episode ended with Blaine and Rachel as Tony and Maria.  I would have loved to see their entire production of West Side Story.  Oh well.

Note: the episode, titled "The First Time" was all about sex or more specifically, who hasn't done it yet.  Then they threw on some underage drinking for kicks and giggles.  Personally I would have liked to have seen more of the rehearsals and production of West Side Story since I love it so much.  Again I say, "Oh well."

Didja watch New Girl?  If you had you woulda seen:

- Jess's best friend, Cece. She's been around but never had much to do before this episode.  She's a model so of course the roommates get a little dumb around her.  You see, Cece has a douchey boyfriend (DJ Dia-beat-it) who she dumps by way of turning his t-shirt from deep-v into an even deeper-v.  She can't go home because he's been staying there so she goes home with Jess.

- an impromptu dance party breaks out, which Nick (on the couch) does not want to take part in.  Cece urges him up off the couch and Nick protests, "No! I don't dance.  I'm from the town in Footloose."  Heh.

- Schmidt, after putting Cece to sleep on his bed, celebrates with what he thinks is parkour around the apartment.  Why is it that TV writers think it's funny for characters to jump around and say "Parkour"?  They did it on The Office too and it was just as dumb.

- Jess replies that Walter Matthau in Grumpy Old Men is her perfect man.  And I love her for it.

Note: This is a looney show and I'm totally hooked.

Didja watch Raising Hope?  If you had you woulda seen:

- a 13 year old kid pick on Jimmy and his nose.  Like a lot.  Also, the kid has a crush on Sabrina.

- In order to get the kid to stop making fun of him, Jimmy agrees to find him a  girl his own age.  Unfortunately it sounds like Jimmy's trying to pick her up instead. Her father, freaking MacGyver (center of the pic), beats up on Jimmy a lot this episode because of the confusion.  It's funnier than I make it sound.

- Also, Burt and Virginia realize they aren't the kind of people who sort through pooh (Maw Maw's; not a stranger's) even if there's a gold tooth in there somewhere.  Good for them.
